If you have cable TV, then chances are very high that you have something called exercise TV channels available to you. They will have all kinds of exercises all day long to fit your available time and style. If you have Comcast, you can even use their pre-recorded shows that are available 24 hours a day to you, called “Comcast on Demand”. Working out at home with your own equipment is generally considered to be the most convenient type of exercising because you don’t have to leave the home, wear anything special, and you will be close to your new baby in case there are any problems. If you have a big basement, or a designated gym room, that’s even better.

You could also simply use your staircase as your personal “treadmill” without all the expense. Just walk up and down it a few dozen times and you will soon burn a lot of fat, and sweat like a hog. You can even fill up a plastic water bottle or grab a can of soup to use as a mock dumbbell for weight loss after childbirth.

Feel free to also simply jog in place while watching your favorite “Sex and the City” re-runs to really take your mind off of your workouts, and still have a grand old time in the process.
